Our story

It all begins with an idea. For us, it was a simple jar of pepper jelly. Nothing fancy. Just something purchased during an occasional grocery run. My husband loved it….and then the brand he loved was discontinued. I began my mission over the weekend to recreate the recipe to the best of my ability and what happened in the process, began our journey. One jar became 12, flavors diversified, some worked, some did not. Taking my labor of love to functions and sharing with others began the evolvement of what it is today. What started out as a simple act of love, became something I would make seasonally for friends and family and over the past two decades, it instilled a drive and work ethic in our children as they saw us take something as simple as a jar of pepper jelly and create an entrepreneurial lifestyle that has taken us down a path we never imagined.

So, where are we now, 20 years later…..

My husband and I, after experiencing how quickly life can change the entire trajectory of your future (massive heart attack in 2019) chose to relocate our empty nester life to the Gulf Coast to work hard & play hard. We had a choice when we moved to our happy place….stay in the corporate world or take the road less traveled and chase our dreams of expanding our brand to everything we always wanted it to be. We want to live a life with less stress, more joy and to leave a legacy for our kids and grandkids. We have big dreams and goals and we hope that the products we create becomes something that you and your family love for years to come.
